I just spent the last hour or so compiling a playlist of memorable guy/girl duets, including:
• "Don't You Want Me" by Human League
• "Modern Nature" by Sondre Lerche (with Lillian Samdal)
• "Nothing Better" by The Postal Service (with Jen Wood)
• "Love Is Strange" by Mickey & Sylvia (thanks Marisa!)
• "I've Had the Time of My Life" by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes
• "I Can Feel It" by Sloan (with Jennifer Pierce)
• "Benediction" by The Weakerthans (with Sarah Harmer)
• "Brown Sugar" by Beth Orton (with Ryan Adams)
• "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper (with that guy she sings with — Jules Shear according to allmusic.com)
• "Stompin' at the Savoy" by Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong
• "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler (with the 'turn around bright eyes' guy — Rory Dodd according to allmusic.com)
• "When You're Gone" by Bryan Adams (with Mel C of Spice Girls fame)
• "Thin Line" by Jurassic 5 (with Nelly Furtado)
• "I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams" by Weezer (with The Rentals and vocalist Petra Hayden of That Dog)
• "U Got The Look" by Prince & Sheena Easton; and
• "Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul and a cartoon cat (at the recommendation of J)
It's an eclectic mix no doubt, a little bit cool, a little bit cheese. A few tracks are not strictly duets, but wouldn't be the same without the vocals from the opposite sex. Anyone have any other ideas of great guy/girl duets for my playlist?

Oooh! Oooh! I have some!
"Ciao!" by Lush (with Jarvis Cocker)
"This Mess We're In" by PJ Harvey (with Thom Yorke)
"Interlude" by Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux
"Baby It's Cold Outside" by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan
"Where the Wild Roses Grow" By Nick Cave (with Kylie Minogue)
"Fairytale of New York" by Shane MacGowan and Kirsty MacColl
Um, Mason you forgot one of the best guy/gal duets of all time. "Islands in the Stream" with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
And don't go stretching the definition of "duet" so you can have a longer list.
I remebered another good one this morning. "Sometimes Always" with Mazzy Star and Jesus and Mary Chain. A beautiful song indeed.
Oh oh! "If I close my eyes forever" by Ozzy Osbourne and Leta Ford.
Don't know why, but I've never gotten that song out of my head...
Islands in the Stream.
One of my faves is "I never talk to strangers" (Tom Waits and Bette Midler)
